The Kenya 2026/27 SportPesa League season is fast approaching, and our clubs are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations!
The best teams know that championships are not won on opening day — they're built during pre-season.
KPL Champions Gor Mahia FC and Mozzart Bet Cup Champions Tusker FC are currently in Rwanda competing in the #CECAFAKagameCup2026, using the tournament to sharpen tactics, build team chemistry, integrate new signings, and test themselves against top regional opposition.
Next on the road is MSEAL FC (Muranga Seal), who will travel to Tanzania for the Tanzanite 2026 Pre-Season Tournament from 2nd–9th August as part of their preparations for the upcoming campaign.
More Than Just Match Fitness
These international pre-season tournaments offer far more than match fitness. They provide clubs with opportunities to:
- Test tactical systems under competitive conditions.
- Build squad cohesion and integrate new players.
- Gain valuable experience against quality regional opposition.
- Evaluate player performance ahead of the new season.
- Strengthen the profile of Kenyan football across East Africa.
A Growing Regional Culture
At Sports Tourism Limited, we're encouraged to see more Kenyan clubs embracing regional competition as part of their pre-season programmes. Such experiences not only improve on-field performance but also foster stronger relationships between clubs, fans, destinations, and the wider East African football community.
We wish Gor Mahia FC, Tusker FC, and MSEAL FC successful campaigns as they fine-tune their squads ahead of what promises to be an exciting Kenya Premier League season.
The countdown to kick-off has begun. Let the preparations continue!
