At Nyayo National Stadium, the Harambee Stars U-23 #EmergingStars gave Kenyan football fans plenty to celebrate, securing an emphatic 4–1 victory over Tanzania in the U-23 AFCON 2027 qualifiers. 🇰🇪⚽🔥

Kenya 🇰🇪 4–1 Tanzania 🇹🇿

And the goals came from across the team:

  • ⚽ Paul Osama 1'
  • ⚽ Lawrence Okoth 45+4'
  • ⚽ Kevin Wangaya 50'
  • ⚽ Kelly Madada 75'

Four goals. Four different scorers. One very happy Kenyan football community! 👏🏾

And, of course, the fans had something to say:

💬 "I support selection was done wisely." 👏🏾

💬 "We beat our neighbours 4–1 even without our star boy Kibet!" 😂

💬 "Jirani kutushinda labda washinde poa." 😎🤣

💬 "The Tanzanians came 4–1 reason!" 😂🔥

Football banter aside, there is a much bigger story emerging.
