Kenyan football has officially turned a historic page with the unveiling of the SportPesa League ahead of the 2025/26 season. This landmark 10-year partnership between Football Kenya Federation and SportPesa, valued at Ksh 1.12 billion, signals nothing short of a renaissance for our beautiful game.
From September 19th, our top-flight competition kicks off under a new dawn anchored on accountability, professionalism, and opportunity. For the first time in years, our champions will walk away with prize money that truly reflects the stature of the league:
- Ksh 15 Million – Winners
- Ksh 3 Million – Runners-up
- Ksh 2 Million – Second runners-up
Even more inspiring, 60% of the sponsorship funds will directly benefit the 18 participating clubs, ensuring growth at the grassroots while creating a competitive and vibrant environment for players and fans alike.
